Scripture without unnecessary machinery
Thine Bible is being built to make Christian Scripture and teaching available through a small, private, durable website—including through a Tor onion service.
Mission
Read, keep, and share
The project serves people who want uncomplicated access to the Bible and people living where access to Christian material may be restricted or censored.
Every language is generated offline as an independent static section using redistribution-authorized Bible sources and reviewed interface text.
Static by design
The deployed site contains HTML, CSS, and downloadable files. The generator runs offline and is never installed on the public server.
Verifiable by design
Source editions and checksums are recorded, downloads have SHA-256 hashes, and Bible text is preserved exactly.
Project boundaries
Audio sermons, hymns, worship music, and other media will be considered in a later phase. They are intentionally excluded from the first release while storage, bandwidth, provenance, and redistribution rights are evaluated.
